Truth Be Told With Lucinda Bassett- Wake-Up Call

Back when I needed it the most, there wasn’t a lot of help or information about anxiety disorder. That’s when I took control. I would help myself and find my own answers. I spent months researching and studying. Little did I know I was beginning an awakening process that would change my life forever.

Now I am convince that I suffered all those years for a reason. I have conquered my anxiety, panic attacks, and phobias. I really believe we go through difficult situations to learn form them and then use what we have learned to help make the world a better place by helping others who are going through similar experiences.

Today I am living a full, exciting, happy, peaceful life. Is my life perfect? Of course not. Do I still worry and have anxiety at times? Yes, but its different. I use to worry endlessly about pointless things. I used to be anxious lying in bed with no real issue to deal with. I don’t do any of that now. When my sister was diagnosed with cancer, I was worried and anxious with the thought of losing her, but it was a real issue. Even when the issue is real and anxiety producing, I control my reactions. You, too, can develop the skills necessary to control your thoughts, which in turn control your reactions. This will keep you from creating the anxiety symptoms.
