Truth Be Told With Lucinda Bassett- Know Your Dreams
Achievement mans different things to different people. Success might mean being in a healthy, positive relationship or raising happy, confident children. Fulfillment might mean doing a job that you love, planting a beautiful garden or staying healthy, fit and taking very good care of yourself. For many people challenged by anxiety, achievement simply means being independent and panic-free, being able to control their racing thoughts. No matter how you define success and achievement, you must be clear about what it means to you and what your goals are. You’ll find that once you control your anxiety, your goals will change anyway. You’ll begin to broaden your horizons and dream bigger dreams. You’ll go from a goal of overcoming panic attacks, to a goal of driving distances, to a goal of starting a new job or going on a special trip far away. The potential is continuous and goal-setting becomes an ongoing process.
The ability to define your goals and desires will help to alleviate your anxiety.
